Goodbye to 6th Class

On June 28th we said goodbye to our 6th class pupils as we closed for our summer holidays. They were presented with a certificate and an engraved pen as a memento of their time in primary school. We wish them the very best of luck as they prepare to begin secondary school and we hope that they leave with many happy memories of their time spent in Carrickleck NS.

Halloween Fun in Carrickleck NS

On Friday October 23rd, Carrickleck NS transformed into a school full of witches, zombies, werewolves, skeletons and other gruesome characters! Pupils, teachers and parents all got into the Halloween spirit and looked great in their costumes. Everyone really enjoyed the treats and goodies…even if some items contained eyeballs and other gruesome bits!

As well as dressing up and eating all the tasty treats, we enjoyed playing various games. We even tried our luck at some traditional Halloween games! The children in the older classes were great at helping the younger pupils. Snap Apple was a particular favourite with everyone! To top it all off, there was even some Irish dancing!

Everyone had a great time and I think you’ll agree that the smiles really do speak for themselves…

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this a very happy and fun-filled day in Carrickleck NS!
